this war in iraq. bullshit.
i'm going to talk about it, because i feel like the people of this country are stuffed under the governments towel at this point. they're just smothering us. no one wants to go to war anymore. i'm tired of it, personally. it was fine for a while.. for about.. 15 seconds. then we actually went to war, and it became stupid and long and drawn out, and a waste of all our time. bush used sept. 11th as a reason to do what he wanted to do in the first place, and that's reform the arab nations. now he's on the second crusade, determined to rid the world of the evil arab man, and make it safe for all the racist rednecks of texas. yehaw, cowboys.
instead of riding horses this time, they're riding on the backs of their own people. us. our sorrow, and our pain for the lost, and even if we didn't lose, we still felt those buildings fall.. and there was nothing we could do about it, because we brought it on ourselves. well this time, we have a chance to stop him from making the same mistake we've always made, and that's make the world a safer place for no one else, but ourselves. believing our system works for everyone is also racist. it's almost as if we're reluctant to any new ideas. we're spoiled brats, in a free world, completely omniscient to anyone we consider inferior.
i don't want to change the government in iraq. and doesn't that matter?! aren't i a patriot? don't i get my vote? no war, in iraq. let them be. they love saddam, and they hate us, and that's how it will always be, until we learn to respect them and their leaders. he doesn't want to kill us, or he would've already tried. he's a political leader, not a suicide hijacker, and that's what everyone's vision of the arab people has turned to since a few crazy mother fuckers decided they were going to kill themselves and take 5000 or so with them. if you want more innocent lives taken, by all means, attack iraq. but if we want to start resolving our world issues peacefully, i believe it's going to have to begin now. or it may never happen. sign a petition, pull a strike, do something. just don't go to war.
