what people don't teach you about in school is the fact that life gets harder every second of the day. the moment your born, life is accelerating at your feet, taking you away. it's always, what you could be, and what life lays ahead. you're spared from everything else in the world besides knowledge, sports, and cafeteria food. when you're old enough, you realize that you're not safe, you're not spared. you're so alike everyone else that it makes you a completely different person. it breaks you down. when those die around you, those who taught you to stop fearing everything and to just accept what you see as being your reality -- that reality begins to fade away. when you see them staring into their final stare, their death, you die with them, but are unable to understand what exactly has happened. you figure out that life isn't a bunch of stuff you own, or buy, it's those around you, and your experiences with them. the world is full of unsaid bullshit that's impossible for anyone to handle, so we shrug it off with everything else around us that can't communicate with us on that level - the items that don't pry. cars, clothes, dvd's.... the digital age is a scary thing to live in. it's the most impersonal age we're tolerable to. we'll all die alone, if we don't stop and realize what we were put here for. eachother.
