advice for the young at heart.
somedays you'll wake up and want to be a writer. other days, you'll wish you stayed in bed --- stay in bed.
with a million possibilities in this world, it's no wonder today's youth have a hard time figuring out where the fuck to go anymore. then there are the expectations. those smother just about any form of individual thought left in someone's mind. especially if you're soaked in that bullshit as a kid. you know, the whole following someone's footsteps routine. never do that.
when you have that gut feeling that you're missing something, it's gone.
it's way easier to smile, than to frown.
pride can ruin your entire life. and if you're thinking "that can never happen to me" it's already beginning to.
love someone who loves you. the population becomes thinner as you get older.
when hospice comes to visit your grandparents, or even your parents, it's time you realized how sick they are and that they're never going to get better. resolve everything while you can, it's okay to say goodbye.
don't buy something without researching it first, unless it's edible. even then, know what you're eating, because it all becomes a part of you.
family and friends will seperate and move on, but they'll never stop loving you. don't blame them or yourself.
care for others, even if they care little for you. it's okay to accept people for who they are, but don't lose yourself in the process.
in order to respect anyone, you have to have the utmost in yourself.
it isn't wrong to flee from the situations you knowingly don't belong in.
be whatever you want to be, whenever. because even if it's bad, you'll at least know what it is and be able to change it.
