To set requirements upon a friends head is to be un-accepting, dejectful, and unappreciative. Do not treat your friends with the aspect of time, or place.. meaning, don't always turn them down when they can't fit into your schedule, or if you can't fit into theirs. Don't always use the past as an excuse, because as much as we'd all love for it to matter, it doesn't. To be with your friends, should be your joy. The complications and technicalities should bear little weight in your conversation and feelings. Accept your friend for having new friends. In order to adapt to a change or move in our lives, we make new friends. To love them, you must support them. To support them, you must accept who they meet. (even if it kills you) The farther away you push, the wider the gap will form. Especially if they've moved away. Cut loose ends, and always take responsibility and initiative. Always remember that the relationship you form with your friends is half yours, and not all theirs. And most importantly, remember.
